Workshops
Workshops serve as introductions to the MYTT program and all of the fun! MYTT workshops are event-coordinated courses with hands-on opportunities to work in tech systems and the occasional chance at competition.
Robotics
For Ages 9-13
This workshop offers hands-on opportunities to build and program Lego Mindstorm robots. Once students complete a workshop, they can work in small teams and design robotic systems to compete in a number of fun activities with a focus on future competing at local, state and national robotics competitions. This class is great for students who have a big imagination and like to build things.
Students Will Learn:
- Hands-on instruction in robotics
- Basics of programming language
- Participate in robotics challenges similar to popular robotics competition programs

Robotics Engineers
For Ages 14-18
Our fun and exciting Robotic Engineering Club is designed for teens ages 14-18. This club is ideal for students who enjoy problem-solving and want to develop personal skills through working in a collaborative team setting.
Skills Development: Problem-solving, creativity, collaborative teamwork and adapting to new challenges.
Students Will Learn to:
- Use proper gear ratios to create speed or torque
- Accomplish tasks using analog and digital sensors
- Programming control structures
- Participate in robotics challenges similar to popular robotics competition programs

Programming / Coding
For Ages 9 -13

This course provides a fun, interactive look into programming and development. Students will learn the basics of fundamental programming. They will produce several different interactive games and apps to share with their friends and family. This course also grants the opportunity for students to program their own video games and mobile apps.
